Sixth form colleges

Sixth form colleges can join our growing network by affiliating to the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust. Affiliation gives your college membership of a powerful and unique network of national and international schools, universities, local authorities and organisations committed to raising standards of achievement and transforming education through the sharing of innovative practice.

Benefits of affiliation:

Support from a dedicated regional coordinator. The SSAT has invested further resources into the regions. Regional offices have been established in Peterborough, Taunton, Wolverhampton, Preston and York. These offices have full time administrative support. There are plans for additional offices in the North East and the Eastern region;

Three free or heavily subsidised regional events;

Applying

1. Sixth form colleges should download and complete the
Sixth form college affiliation application form.

and email it to:
affiliation@ssatrust.org.uk
or post it to: Rachel Treslove, Project Officer - Affiliation, Specialist Schools and Academies Trust, 16th Floor, Millbank Tower, 21-24 Millbank, London, SW1P 4QP.

2. On receipt of application the college will automatically become affiliated. The college will then receive a visit from their Regional Coordinator, who sends a report to the SSAT for our records.

Membership fees

The annual affiliation fee is £2,210*
*Affiliation fees were reviewed in April 2008
