Community specialism headteacher steering group

The specialism headteacher steering groups use their collective expertise and experience to consider how their specialism or theme should grow and develop. The groups act as a channel of communication between schools, the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust and other agencies, including the DfES.

Please read the terms of reference for further details about the groups’ aims and objectives. Groups meet three times a year.

Membership of the groups is open to all headteachers of aspiring and designated specialist schools affiliated to the Trust. If you are interested in joining one of the groups, please download an application form or contact the Comunity team at community@ssatrust.org.uk.

Members of the steering group can download the external expenses claim form to claim for expenses incurred in travelling to attend meetings.
