There’s more to ICT than computers and the term New Technologies better covers the huge range of technological resources of potential value to learning today. It may be interactive whiteboards and tablets or the latest CAD/CAM or language lab technology - but what about the possible uses of VoIP or the new generation of mobile phones in the learning process?

What is certainly true is that such technology, properly used, offers a great opportunity to develop personalisation for the learner.
